Christ Church, Spitalfields

Spitalfields, is an Anglican church built between 1714 and 1729 by Nicholas Hawksmoor. Situated on Commercial Street. it was one of the first (and arguably one of the finest) of the so-called "Commissioners' Churches" built for the Commission for Building Fifty New Churches, which had been established by an Act of Parliament in 1711.

Can this building be called a Church?

This is one of the main questions I researched about.  Where has the holy feel disappeared too? what is effecting this feel?

My research was divided into A few different topics in order to understand the main research question.
